Christie - trying on gowns 10.5.22

Yesterday Christie, Elizabeth, April and I visited two shops for dresses.  The first was in Maryville and had a small, but good selection of gowns.  The girls all found something they liked there.  Especially Elizabeth.  the second shop was in St Joseph, MO and had a very large selection of gowns.  Again, all the girls found things they liked, but this time it was Christie who fell in love with something.

Can you guess which gowns were the girls' favorites ?

Christie tried on several gowns that looked really beautiful on her.  I think she's beginning to get a hang of the styles that are the most flattering for her...

Gown #1

Gown #2

Gown #3

This gown was too large, so the attendant held it closed for her so we could see what it would look like in the right size.

Gown #4

We all agreed this bodice was flattering to her.

and she really liked the back...

This gown looked especially beautiful when walking...

She lilked the pleats on the sides as this seemed to make the gown something special in how it moved.

Gown #5 (Christie especially liked this train with all the embroidery)

Gown #6

Gown #7 (We all loved this one on her!)

Gown #9 (This was the unanimous favorite of ours for Christie)

Gown #10

Gown #11 (This was in eggplant - really a deep aubergine color. The deep color looked so beautiful on her and we all liked this dress a lot as a result)

Stay tuned for more next time!

Click on the photo, save to your computer. Go back and zoom into the dress. The other photo didn't turn out. :(

Christie - Yes, #9 is a Maggie. Found it on their site. It is in today's slideshow on the home page. :)

Wish I could make a living taking photos! Those weren't very good tho.

Christie - #7 looks almost identical to the Maggie dress Angelina.
