decisions

I think I might get really into this, especially at first.
I thought I might go through some decisions I made/are making and share it with everyone. Those who already heard these from me can just ignore and go on.

Through the trying on dresses process I have realized some things.

My wedding dress will not be ivory or cream but stark white. I like it better and it doesn't look bad on me.

I still want my bridesmaid's dress to be made almost exactly like mine except they get color. This seems to be very important to me.

Like Lizzy, short trains are unacceptable. Chapel length train or semi-cathedral are a must. there is just a form of elegance in a long train, feels special. ... though bridesmaids will get a train too, it can be shorter.

I want a long veil. I want it to extend a little further than the train and i like the top of it layered. Also I don't mind plain trimming around the edges of the veil . One of those things I didn't like till I put it on. I looked like satin bias tape to me. Though I think the same effect can be made with a nice rolled hem with embroidery thread.

I am not big on beads. I tend to lean toward embroidery which is oddly convenient ^_-

I tend to look good in some sort of empire waist embellishment. I tended to look great in things that had a definite difference between the bust and underbust.


When it comes to other parts of the wedding I like clear glass candle holders and lots of candles and I would like it to be in the evening. The clear glass leech into things like guest pen, cake cutting stuff, other decorations and stuff. I think I might, might change from celtic knots to drawing my own swirlys to keep on a theme. I still like them and it would match the kind of cake I want. ...I am trying to make it things I like and variety but not make it look like I threw a bunch of things together. I will ponder on this.
