Lake Rathbun 10.6.28
Since Lake Wapello is now an impossibility for the location, we're on to try to find something else that will work. Went to Lake Rathbun North of Centerville. Dave and Chris came along and showed us some places that were possibilities. It was hard for Elizabeth to even look at them as they are nothing at all like the stone lodge she had hoped to find. We also looked at Beck Mansion (A Catered Affair) in Centerville. Below are the photos:

Wow, Lake Rathbun and Beck Mansion! I love this place! My cousin's wedding reception lastweek was at the Beck Mansion. After the wedding my family enjoy hunting for big bucks in Iowa. Iowa and Missouri has plenty of bg bucks.
That is so neat! Did you go? How many were there? Do you have any photos? The girls still haven't chosen their venue yet, and Beck mansion is still in the running. I just haven't been able to actually talk to anyone there yet...
