The Maid of Honor (well one of them anyway)

Just to introduce myself, I'm April, Christie's Maid-of-Honor. Elizabeth, also known as: Lizz (the OTHER bride on this site... but we won't talk about her) is technically the other Maid-of-Honor as well... but I won't talk about that either. :)

In my mind, my job, as Premiere Maid-of-Honor (yes, I gave myself that title. Lizz can... well... she can have it too... I suppose.) As I was saying, my job is to keep track of all the little details (like the fact that so-and-so offered us two boxes of bubble tubes to use for the wedding, and my aunt is willing to do not one, but both brides' flowers for free, and etc etc. More about that later) remember that she is supposed to be happy about this, not ... too ... stressed, and most important of all: I'm supposed to keep her on schedule.

First, we're working on the where. The dress is important, but you have to take into consideration when looking for dresses on whether you'll be able to fit down the aisle. Now, if you're going for an outside wedding like Lizzie, then it doesn't matter, because you make your own aisle. Christie wants indoors. But the size of the dress isn't that big of a deal, cause she doesn't tend to like the huge skirt on her wedding dresses.

The size of the place is pretty important, because you have to be able to fit everyone in, but Christie is currently all about the "feel" of the place. She wants it to feel like it's outdoors... without actually being outdoors. So we're having some issues with that, since we're on a budget, but hey! we get to see all of these awesome places that give us some really good ideas for later.

And this will be continued later...
