Save the Date for a
White wedding
Plan on joining Chris and Elizabeth
at the waterside stone courtyard of a tranquil
castle-like lodge near Bloomfield, Iowa
the evening of next June 25, 2011.
It is our biggest wish that Guests wear
only shades of white and/or Khaki brown.
Make it a family vacation week:
Beautiful and secluded lakeside cabins and camp spots
are available for rent for the evening or the week,
and activities are planned for each day
from Wednesday, June 22
through Sunday July 3.

Unfortunately, we found out today that renting the lodge at Lake Wapello next year is impossible. I spoke with the DNR guy in charge. He said they contract the entire building out to someone to run as a restaurant, bait shop, concession stand. There are specifics in the contract that prevent anyone from renting it for a wedding etc. under any circumstances. Elizabeth and I are really bummed. Soooooooooo sad. :(
